Initiated and managed several new IC manufacturing consumable and CMP product development and marketing programs with successful product launches and significant contributions to CMP business growth during his tenures at Applied Materials from US$80 to US$500M annual revenue and from 15% to 65% global market share at a gross profit margin over 50%. Broad business perspective with experience directly working with corporate executives at Applied Materials and leading IC manufacturing companies; 300+ CMP customer contacts at 50+ IC manufacturers; key raw materials supplier contacts. Developed new CMP business throughout US, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Korea, China, and Europe by directly interfacing with customers, including key engineers, managers, and operation executives.
A technical expert with 41 technical publications, several issued patents and patent filings, and more than 23 invited technical presentations at major international technical conferences. Studied under several world-class experts in slurry, colloidal/surface science, metallurgy, materials science and members of American Academy of Engineering and Chinese Academy of Science and Engineering in BS, MS, and PhD programs. Worked under one-time associate of Paul Flory, a Noble prize recipient in polymer science.

More than 65 value added technology products developed under his leadership are currently serving satisfied customers. A leader in reducing fab system CoO and increasing semiconductor device yield by more than 30% at different semiconductor fabs in their ramp-up processes.
